Hello!
Something majβ has happened to the Secret Subscriber Page... π§
β¦a.k.a. the password protected webpage once storing lots of printable and digital-based astrology self-learning tools, like worksheets, and digital altar cards, all for helping newsletter subscribers supplement their indie astrology learninβ.
IT WAS GREAT (ππ»ππ»), but alsoβ¦ there were some issues. π¬
First, not everyone who accessed and scored cool stuff on that pageβ¦ felt like they werenβt actually able to use it (π«)β¦
βThis is so great! I feel so empowered with all this!
β¦but actually, where do I beginβ¦ which should I start with?
β¦or, actuallyβam I doing this rightβ¦ the worksheet is cute, but donβt know if I was correctβ¦?
β¦do you have materials to supplement the materials here?β
Ah, yesβ¦ totally valid, that all makes sense. ππ»
THUS, I made a super srs decisionβ¦. π§ππ»
β¦I deleted the secret subbie page π³π±
Instead, Iβm focusing on developing content / materials that will help youβ¦
Actually use the astrology self-learning toolsβ¦
Learn from using the tools, andβ¦
Get feedback to know youβre learning.
β¦the basic components for actually learning astrology (vs. just trying to learn π΅βπ«).
YOUβRE ALREADY HELPING ME DO THISβ¦ if you responded to my survey emailsβthe emails where I was asking multiple choice Qβs about your favorite astrology topics, the tools and resources (mine or othersβ) that have helped you most, and where you felt stuck on your learning journeyβ¦.
β¦especially if youβve had a driving desire to learn the secrets of the staaarsβ¦ π«β¨
β¦for which the former secret subbie page couldnβt facilitate (effectively). ππͺ¦
Youβll now find all my favorite astrology tools and resources on the new astrology fun pageβ¦ β¨
β¦Also, in case you were still
werkinβ through βem,
here are the worksheets ππ» πͺβ¨
BIRTH CHART WORKSHEET
-
To help you learn and memorize your birth chart. Helps you inventory each placement, learning the planets, symbolism, and lingo as you go.
-
Copy your birth chart into the blank chart wheel.
Put the signs and house numbers where they go, then add your planets. After that, write out each planet placement: planet, the sign, and the house.
In the Element box, write the glyph for each planet in that element (Fire, Earth, Air, Water). In the Modalities box, write the glyph for each planet in that modality (C = Cardinal, F = Fixed, M = Mutable).
Finally, copy the aspects into the gridded box. Use notation, or the symbols for different aspects.
HINT: Get a free birth chart by either visiting the About page, or find a list of many chart generators (+ how to use βem!) in this post. β¨
For more about reading or decipher your birth chart, check out this post. β¨
TRANSIT GRID WORKSHEET
-
To help you learn to read and understand the impact of transiting planets on your birth chart. Based on Bernadette Bradyβs method in The Eagle and The Lark.
Find out where to get a transit chart and decipher it in this post. β¨
-
For each gride: Top row = the CAUSE. Location of natal planets involved and where transits start to happen. Middle row = the ACTION. The house being transited and where the main event occurs. Bottom row = the EFFECT.
Birth houses ruled by planets involved in the transit, and where the outcome or consequences of the transit occur. INSTRUCTIONS: Write down the date, then open up a transit chart calculator (I prefer Astro-seek.com).
Notice which of your birth planets are being transited. In the top row, record the transiting planet, the aspect being formed, and the birth planet. (Hint: to save space, youβll want to know the βnotationβ or symbol for the aspect being formed!) This reveals the CAUSE.
Remember that, no matter where or what they're transiting, all transiting planets reference the sign + house where they show up on our birth chart.
In first column of the second row, write where the transiting planet is located on your birth chart. In the second column, write where the birth planet is located. Where is the action?
In the third row, record the house where the transiting planet is traveling. To plan and intuit the consequences or effects of this transit, go to the third row. In the first column, note the houses of your chart βruledβ by the transiting planet (there might be more than one house!). In the second column, write the same for birth planet: which house(s) does it rule? (HINT: Look up the βlife categoriesβ or experiences attributed to each house here.)
Finally, use the "notes" section to record the relationship dynamic symbolized by the aspect, the zodiac signs (which describe the themes), and the "life experiences" attributed to the houses involved.
Eclipse Trigger Worksheet
-
To learn to read a transit chart for an eclipse, and document your events + goings-on during pivotal eclipse moments.
-
Visit the Astro-Seek eclipse calendar (for the current year). Find the upcoming eclipse date, and click the link to the chart.
This chart will have all the info you'll need for your worksheet, and if you want to see it overlaying your birth chart (for comparison), visit the Astro-Seek transit chart calculator, and enter both your birth data as well as the eclipse date.
For more information about what eclipses mean (+ why you want to record them!), check out this post. β¨
On the right-hand side, copy by hand your own chart, the chart for the eclipse day, and at the bottom, your birth chart combined with the eclipse day chart.
Fill out the information for the eclipse chart: the date, type of eclipse, zodiac signs involved, the degreeΒ° the eclipse lands on, etc.
For the question, βdate when mars will hit the eclipse pointβ, plug in the sign + degreeΒ° into this Astro-Seek calculator, and record when Mars will cross this point. (HINT: Mars will βactivateβ that point when it finally crosses it! Youβll mosβ defβ want to know when thatβs due to happen!!)
Next, fill out the information for the eclipse chart x your birth chart.
After that, specify what the eclipse strikes on your chart (if anything).
Finally, list any other planets, angles, or points within 5Β° of the eclipse.
Printable Planner Grimoire Page
-
For tracking and later review of your daily transits and corollary omens.
-
Plug in the date, your current location, + the Sabian Symbol for the day (go here to find out β¨), then...
In the left-hand column, write your daily priorities and schedule.
After that, in the right-hand column, record the daily moon phase and sign.
Below that, look up and scribble the planets' positions for the chart of the day.
And finally, any events or omens you might notice!
HINT: Use gel pens or layer your notes in multiple colored inks!
Keep the planner page for at least a year. Move it to the back of your planner, or into a drawer, then program a calendar alert in your phone to revisit and review.
